The apartment search continues
Sorry for the lack of posts, but my apartment drama continues. The good news is I found a cool new place in Rego Park Queens. It's cheap, has a balcony, a doorman, and is pretty nice. The downside is it's in a co-op and I have to be approved by the board even though the owner already approved me. I'm actually very nervous about it. Does anyone have any experience with co-op boards? My broker tells me they rarely turn anyone down unless you liked on the application, but I have my doubts. Let me know and I'll keep you guys posted.
P.S. Thanks to everyone that emailed me. I guess this situation is pretty common from what I've been hearing.
